Reported Speech

All kinds of exercises online from englisch-hilfen, from perfect english grammar, or english grammar online or ego (theory and practice). In the form of a powerpoint or of a video. There are more pages with exercises in esl.about, and more in English learner.

You can also use parts of films (or movies in American English) to practise: Love Actually, While you were sleeping, or School of Rock, with exercises (WORKSHEET) just below the screen of the scene.

Why not watching bits of films to practise? Try ‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button‘, Sex and the City or Meet the Robinsons. Just below the window with the link to youtube click on WORKSHEET for the exercises and the key.

1o SONGS with conditionals? Yes!!! With the lyrics and different styles plus explanations… Look at the way they contract… And of course the songs If I were a boy by Beyoncé and Tears in Heaven by Eric Clapton.

Finally a curiosity: somebody uploaded this videoclip with the 3rd conditional but from minute 1:18 there are some typical mistakes. Can you find them?
